The SICK WS/WE150-P430 from the W150 series is a through-beam photoelectric sensor engineered for reliable object detection in industrial automation, machine building, packaging, and intralogistics. It delivers stable switching over long distances with a typical sensing range up to 4 m (maximum 4.4 m) in a compact 10 x 28 x 17.5 mm block-style housing, making it ideal where space is at a premium.
Built on a transmitter–receiver operating principle, the visible red LED and tight 6° beam angle simplify alignment and reduce false triggering in demanding environments. A PNP switching output with selectable light/dark operation offers flexibility in control schemes, while a fast ≤ 0.5 ms response and 1 kHz switching rate support high-speed processes. Commissioning is straightforward via a 270° potentiometer; IP67 sealing, an operating range of –25 to +55 °C, and an M8 4-pin connector ensure robust field performance, with integrated protection against reverse polarity and short circuit. Delivery includes the BEF-W150-A mounting bracket for quick, secure installation.
Combining long-range detection, compact mechanics, and dependable switching performance, the WS/WE150-P430 helps reduce downtime and streamline integration in modern automation setups, and it provides added peace of mind with a 1-year warranty supporting your deployment.
