The SICK S30A-6011EA safety laser scanner from the S3000 Remote family provides reliable area monitoring and access protection for automated machinery, AGVs, and robot cells. Featuring a 5.5 m protective field, a 49 m warning field, and a wide 190° scan angle, it enables flexible safeguarding concepts and efficient layouts in intralogistics and machine building, improving uptime and operational safety.

Engineered for EFI system networks, the S30A-6011EA connects with Flexi Soft or additional S300/S3000 scanners for coordinated protection. It delivers up to 64 fields across 32 field sets (dual or triple), simultaneous monitoring of up to four safety fields, and a configurable resolution from 30 to 150 mm for accurate detection. A fast 60 ms response, two OSSD safety outputs (2 x 500 mA) with auxiliary signaling and measurement data via RS-422, plus a rugged IP65 aluminum housing with scratch-resistant polycarbonate front lens, laser class 1 (905 nm), and an operating range of -10 to +50 °C, ensure dependable performance in indoor industrial environments.

Certified to Type 3 (IEC 61496), SIL 2 (IEC 61508) and PL d, Category 3 (EN ISO 13849), this SICK S3000 Remote supports restart interlock, EDM, static/dynamic field switching, and reference contour functions to streamline commissioning and minimize downtime, and for added peace of mind in demanding applications, it comes with a 1-year warranty.
