The SICK IME08-02BPSZT0K is a compact M8 inductive proximity sensor designed for reliable metal detection in demanding automation environments. Its short-body, flush-mount form factor fits easily into tight mechanical envelopes, making it a solid choice for positioning, end-stop detection and part counting on packaging, assembly and material-handling machinery.

Engineered for consistent switching, the DC 3-wire PNP, normally open output delivers a precise 2 mm sensing distance with up to 4 kHz switching frequency. A nickel-plated brass housing with PA66 sensing face, IP67 sealing and EMC compliance to EN 60947-5-2 ensure stable operation from −25 to +75 °C, while integrated short-circuit protection supports trouble-free commissioning on 10–30 V DC control supplies.

Supplied with two nickel-plated steel nuts for fast mounting, this IME series sensor helps minimize downtime and total cost of ownership, and it is backed by a 1-year warranty to give maintenance teams added confidence in continuous operation.
