The SICK DL100-21AA2110 laser distance sensor from the Dx100 family delivers long-range, high-precision distance measurement for indoor industrial automation. Covering distances from 0.15 to 100 m on Diamond Grade reflector film with typical accuracy of ±2 mm and 0.5 mm repeatability, it is ideal for positioning, level monitoring, and long-travel detection on cranes, conveyors, and intralogistics equipment. A rugged die-cast aluminum housing with IP65 ingress protection ensures dependable performance in demanding environments.

Operating at 24 V DC, the device uses a visible red Class 2 laser and achieves a 1 ms measurement cycle with 2 ms response time. Two push-pull PNP/NPN switching outputs and an EtherNet/IP interface streamline integration with PLC and SCADA networks, while the SPEEDCON-compatible M12 connector and on-device dot-matrix display simplify commissioning and diagnostics. EMC-compliant design and specified low temperature and pressure influences support stable readings even under strong ambient light up to 100,000 lx.
