Increase detection reliability in tight spaces with the KEYENCE FU-A100 fiber optic through-beam array head. Its 100 mm sensing span and slim profile make it ideal for part presence, counting and edge confirmation on conveyors, packaging machines and assembly fixtures where conventional photoelectric sensors cannot be mounted directly.
The FU-A100 features a 100 x 0.25 mm optical axis area that stabilizes detection across the array, enabling consistent performance even with varying part positions. A minimum detectable object of ø6 mm supports small-part applications, while the 2 m free-cut fiber lead simplifies panel routing; note that the spiral section is not cuttable and the allowable bend radius is R10 mm. The cast aluminium housing, PBT sensing face and IP67 sealing ensure durability in washdown and dusty environments, with an operating range from -20 to +50 °C and 35 to 85% RH (non-condensing).
