The Beckhoff KL6051 Bus Terminal is a compact 1-channel serial communication interface operating at 62.5 kBaud, designed for reliable data exchange in demanding industrial automation environments.

Utilizing 2 x RS422 technology with full duplex TxD and RxD channels, it enables 32-bit bidirectional data transfer over twisted pair cables up to approximately 1000 m, with 120 Ω impedance. Powered via the K-bus with typical 65 mA current consumption, it provides 500 V electrical isolation between K-bus and signal voltage, IP20 protection, and automatic configuration-free operation.
