The Beckhoff KL3052 is a compact 2-channel analog input Bus Terminal for 4–20 mA signals, delivering dependable current measurement for PLC and automation applications. At just 12 mm wide with an IP20 housing, it saves space in control cabinets and integrates seamlessly into the Beckhoff Bus Terminal system (K-bus) for scalable I/O architectures.

Technically, the KL3052 provides 12-bit resolution with a typical conversion time of ~2 ms and a measurement uncertainty < ±0.3% of full scale for accurate acquisition of process instrumentation loops. The single-ended channels feature integrated sensor supply, surge resistance up to 35 V, and 500 V isolation between K-bus and signal; data are supplied as 2 × 16-bit input words with optional 8-bit control/status, and no address or configuration setting is required. Spring-cage connections enable fast, vibration-resistant wiring on a 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with EN 60715.
