The Beckhoff EL2622 is a compact EtherCAT terminal with two relay outputs, engineered for reliable switching of AC and DC loads up to 5 A. With a 12 mm footprint and IP20 housing, it integrates seamlessly into EtherCAT architectures, making it an excellent choice for machine builders, panel shops, and OEMs needing robust digital output performance for actuators, solenoids, and lighting circuits.

Each channel provides a make contact (SPST-NO) rated for 230 V AC/30 V DC and supports ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads. The terminal features 500 V isolation between E-bus and field potential, a typical E-bus current consumption of 170 mA, and maps as a 2-bit process image without addressing or configuration. Inductive loads are supported up to 2 A per channel with a minimum load of 10 mA at 5 V DC. The EL-12-8pin housing with status LEDs enables fast cabinet wiring on a 35 mm DIN rail, and the design without power contacts helps segregate field supply while meeting EMC requirements.
