The Beckhoff EK1122 is a compact 2-port EtherCAT junction designed for reliable network branching in modular automation systems. It enables machine builders, panel builders and industrial service teams to create flexible EtherCAT topologies while maintaining high communication performance in distributed I/O installations.

This EtherCAT terminal couples EtherCAT junctions via two RJ45 bus interfaces and supports 100 Mbit/s data transfer over shielded Ethernet/EtherCAT cable from Cat.5. With a station distance of up to 100 m, approx. 1 µs propagation delay, E-bus power supply and IP20 protection, the EK1122 is well suited for DIN rail installation inside control cabinets.

For applications requiring dependable EtherCAT expansion with minimal configuration effort, the Beckhoff EK1122 provides a practical and space-saving solution, supplied with the added assurance of a 1-year warranty.
