The Beckhoff BK1250 compact coupler provides a practical interface between EtherCAT Terminals and Bus Terminals, making it ideal for modular automation systems where existing K-bus I/O needs to be integrated into an EtherCAT network. Its narrow terminal housing supports space-saving control cabinet design while maintaining the performance expected in industrial machine and plant engineering.

Operating with the EtherCAT protocol at 100 Mbit/s, the BK1250 supports up to 64 Bus Terminals, or up to 255 with K-bus extension, and handles 1024 bytes of input and 1024 bytes of output fieldbus data. The unit is supplied with 24 V DC, mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail, and offers IP20 protection for use in protected electrical cabinets.
